Privacy Policy

EFB Wallpaper Manager is designed to work primarily on the user’s computer. This policy summarizes the information the software and website may use.

1. Data processed locally

The app may read installation paths, detect compatible packages, store language/theme preferences, read the installed version and detect whether Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is running. This information is used to provide the requested functionality.

2. Update checks

When enabled, the app requests the project’s public update manifest. The server may keep ordinary technical web logs such as IP address, request date, user agent and response codes.

3. Imported images

Images imported by the user remain on the computer unless the user chooses to share them elsewhere. The app does not need to upload them to a server to apply a local wallpaper.

4. Website

The website may store the theme preference in browser local storage. Language is identified by the /es/ or /en/ URL and does not require a cookie.

5. Contact forms and bug reports

If the user submits a contact or bug-report form, the site processes the information they choose to provide, such as email address, optional name, technical environment details, issue description and up to three screenshots. Attachments are used to handle the report and are not automatically published.

The form’s anti-spam protection uses a temporary signed token, a honeypot field and submission-rate limits. A cryptographic fingerprint derived from the IP address is used to enforce those limits; the form does not require an external CAPTCHA or tracking cookies. Temporary rate-limit records are used solely for security and abuse prevention.

6. Cookies and analytics

The base website does not require advertising cookies or the sale of personal data. If analytics are added in the future, they will be documented here and consent will be requested when required.

7. Third parties

External links may be subject to third-party privacy policies. LiveryLab does not control their practices.

8. Retention

Local preferences remain until the user clears them. Technical server logs, if present, are retained only as long as reasonably needed for security, diagnostics and administration.
